This was my audition piece for the 2012 San Diego Actor's Alliance All City Auditions -- an annual unified, general audition for professional actors to appear before a large number of Southern California theater and film directors/producers/casting agents, as well as talent agents and managers. The monologue I chose to do was the role of Jeff Chase from the stage play "War Stories: A Chronology of a Crack Addict" by Alberto Finetti - a monologue in the play about an actor named Jeff Chase who is auditioning for a Shakespeare company and keeps messing up. No, that's not ME forgetting MY lines - it's WRITTEN that way! Thanks to industry giant Clyde Sacks for videoing this -- and to actress/singer/dancer EXTRAORDINAIRE Shauna Hart Ostrom -- the event's organizer - for giving me her condolences or congratulations (whichever the case may have been) in the lobby afterwards, HAHAHA!!!! YOU ROCK, SHAUNER!!!
